Kendari – Polda Sulawesi Tenggara (Sultra) bergerak cepat menangkap 9 pemuda yang melakukan penyerangan di kawasan MTQ Kota Kendari.
“Sampai saat ini sudah 9 orang diamankan,” ujar Dirreskrimum Polda Sultra Kombes Wisnu Wibowo kepada wartawan, Kamis (4/6/2026).
Menurutnya, Tim Unit Reaksi Cepat Direktorat Reskrimum Polda Sultra langsung turun tangan melakukan penyelidikan tidak lama setelah para terduga pelaku beraksi pada Selasa (2/6) dini hari.
Polisi lalu mengidentifikasi keberadaan para terduga pelaku di sebuah basecamp.
“Tim melakukan pencarian terhadap pelaku dan mengamankan yang pertama berinisial AT alias Uta kemudian mengembangkan ke pelaku lainnya,” ujarnya.
Selain mengamankan terduga pelaku, polisi juga menyita sejumlah barang bukti berupa senjata tajam dan sepeda motor. Tim penyidik kini tengah melakukan interogasi untuk mendalami peran para terduga pelaku.
“Saat ini kami periksa 9 orang untuk didalami peran mereka masing-masing,” ujarnya.
Aksi Brutal di Kawasan MTQ Kendari
Kawanan geng motor ini sebelumnya membuat keributan di kawasan pedestrian eks MTQ Kendari, Jalan H. Supu Yusuf Kelurahan Korumba, Kecamatan Mandonga, Kendari, Selasa (2/6) dini hari. Seorang saksi menyebut para terduga pelaku menyerang mobil.
“Mereka datang mengamuk bawa teman-temannya, jadi mereka serang itu mobil. Karena sudah kacau, mobil itu langsung menabrak dua motor,” kata saksi mata berinisial MS kepada detikcom, Rabu (3/6).
Pihak kepolisian disebut sempat melakukan pembubaran. Namun, saat itu para terduga pelaku ternyata memanggil teman-temannya dan kembali menyerang warga.
Polisi pun kembali membubarkan massa. Aparat kepolisian bersama warga terlibat kejar-kejaran dengan para terduga pelaku.
“Ada kejar-kejaran, tapi mereka berhasil kabur,” bebernya.
Dalam insiden tersebut, seorang warga dilaporkan mengalami luka tebas pada bagian kaki. Korban kemudian dievakuasi ke Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Kendari untuk mendapatkan penanganan medis.
Wisnu Wibowo menambahkan, hingga saat ini pihak kepolisian belum dapat menyimpulkan apakah kelompok yang diamankan merupakan bagian dari geng motor sebagaimana informasi yang beredar di masyarakat.
“Kami masih melakukan pemeriksaan secara mendalam terhadap sembilan orang yang telah diamankan. Kami belum dapat menyatakan mereka merupakan geng motor atau bukan. Yang jelas mereka adalah kelompok pemuda yang sering berkumpul hingga larut malam di sekitar kawasan MTQ,” kata Wisnu.
